- I’m not dead, but I haven’t really been posting much. The main reason for this was because I didn’t really have anything to say. Homework or tumblr or reading or some other thing would distract me. And when I did find myself having the words to say something on my blog, I usually don’t post it, because it might not appeal to you guys or it’s too private (and probably a bit embarrassing) to say.
- Pride and Prejudice (both the book and the movie), The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and Doctor Who are the main things that I’m fangirling over right now. And, I’ve just saw the new episode of Doctor Who yesterday on my older sister’s TV (with my brother distracting me here and there) and I’m still a bit confused as to who Clara is. And why she doesn’t have a clue about the last time she and the Doctor met, when they met again on the new episode.
- Tomorrow is the first day of Camp Nanowrimo and I have an idea for what I want to do. It will involve writing a web diary from the view of a fifteen about to be sixteen year old girl. She’ll write about her life and her kind-of-weird dreams. If you’re interested in following her, go to her blog at everybodytalksbutme.blogspot.com, where she’ll try to post at least once a week (or if I remember).
- I’m participating in the 2013 PAD (poem-a-day) challenge by Writer’s Digest, and I might occasionally post a poem on my writing blog (or here). I’m going to hope that I can survive doing two writing challenges in the same month and still finish both of them.
- It’s also currently spring break for me, and so far it involved going to Costco, eating an omelet at the Original Pancake House, and seeing an improv show that deals with stool.

Words are in my head.
They’re unable to make the trip down to my fingers.
They want to be written.
They want to be put on the screen for everyone to see.
But…
I don’t know.
A fear overcomes me.
It poses as laziness.
Telling me that tumblr is a better choice to spend my time on, for the
moment.
And…
I listen to it.
Reading, listening, seeing.
As well as reblogging.
Always reblogging.
Soon…
My mind is somewhere else.
Unable to focus on the words.
Who soon leave, because they would rather spend their time in a place
called The Back of My Head.
And I don’t care nor do I notice.
Because, my mind was stuck on something else (a bit more ‘important’).

And Both Were Young
Flip feels
like a prisoner when she first arrives at boarding school in Switzerland; her
days are strictly scheduled and she never has a minute to herself. She’s
constantly surrounded by girls who never stop talking about clothes and boys,
making Flip feel lonely, clumsy, and awkward. Then she finds a true friend in
Paul. He understands her in a way that no one at school does, and she breaks
the rules to spend time with him. But as the two become closer, Flip learns
that Paul has a mystery in his past. To help him discover the truth, she must
put herself in serious danger.
My opinion: The cover is cute but it’s deceiving. It looks like the story is set somewhere in the time we’re living in right now. However, the story’s setting is actually set somewhere after World War II. But considering that the original cover looks like this,
I can see
why it won’t appeal to modern audiences. However, it still looks as charming is
it did in 1949, the year when the book first got published.
Rating: 5/5.
Reasons: The romance between Paul and Flip doesn't take over the whole novel. And Flip doesn't spend the whole novel moping about being the oddball in her school.

A Pitch Perfect weekend.
Even though some of you are pretty thin, you all have fat hearts, and that's what matters.

You're one of the a cappella girls. I'm one of those a cappella boys, and we're gonna have aca-children. It's inevitable.

Well... sometimes I have the feeling I can do crystal meth, but then I think, mmm... better not.
(Fat Amy)
Aubrey: What are you doing?
Fat Amy: Horizontal running.
Told you. Endings are the best part.

Let us begin again~
Life is full of changes. It’s true; look around you, in fact, look at yourself.
Can you remember being small? Can you remember losing your first tooth? Can you
remember when you first started learning? Can you remember liking something
that you used to like? Even if it is very vague, you can at least remember
doing something of that sort. Now start remembering how you changed because of
that. And just know that it’s normal.
So don’t be angry or worried if I’m changing too. I’m just like you, a
person who can’t help but change even if it is unintentional. However, some
changes are intentional like my blog. I couldn’t stand having the same theme
for the rest of the year, because it will start boring me. Plus there are so many
html tricks, begging to be used; and I couldn’t help but use them. Even if this
meant altering nearly everything about my blog.
Plus, I didn’t want to have a blog title that doesn’t have anything to do
with me or my life. I wasn’t a baker by nature. And by using the blog title,
Sweets Galore, kind of implies that I am, despite the fact that there wasn’t
any baking going on, on my blog. I am however a teenager who likes the band Of Monsters and Men, especially their
song Little Talks. And, I
am talking to you guys no matter how little I have to say. So the new blog
title, my little talks, fits much better in my opinion.
So without further ado, let’s begin the whole blogging business again.
P.S. Don't be surprised if there are a few small changes here and there.
