Forever young

I was going to post an actual post with pictures of some cosplayers (costume players) and what anime they're from (if I could remember most of them). However, I'm a bit confused on how to use this mac, considering that I'm a PC person.

Plus, I might not have the time to write it out and put the pictures on, etc. So I might do it tomorrow. Meanwhile please enjoy the pictures and music video.

P.S. Sorry for the cursing that's in some of the pictures.

I don't, I don't, don't know what it is

Quick fangirl moment if you may.

>.<
The guys from One Direction are so cute. ^.^

[source]

I wish that they would come to my state, so I can do stuff that won't involve kidnapping, or doing anything of that sorts. No I'm not that kind of person, though a couple of my friends are.

Fangirl moment over, now please enjoy this video.

Changes and a soundtrack (not the actual soundtrack)

So after making a few adjustments with my blog last night I finally learned how to make a mapped header. As well, as learn how to make the font size on my drop down menu, bigger. This makes me happy, because then you don't have to scrounge around to find the pages tab. Simply because it's now on top of the blog posts just hidden under the header. It also means that there's less rectangles on the drop down menu. Plus there's less overcrowding.

Also, I changed my blog button the other day. And I've been meaning to tell you guys, however as the human mind goes. It ended up in my forgotten pile somewhere. Well enough of my rambling about what has changed on my blog.

I finally got, drum roll please...

The actual CD not the one from iTunes, it's already at Wal Mart. And my twin being her Hunger Games loving self bought the CD for around $17 and something cents. The good thing about the CD is that it comes with a movie poster that looks like this

However, there's no black border. The CD also comes with a pack of trading cards, that if you put together like a puzzle. It will look like the picture above or like this

Only there are words announcing the movie date, the movie title, etc. It all depends on which side you do first. Now I would advise you to keep the movie poster and/or the CD away from you when you're sleeping. Why? Well simply because you may freak out about Katniss Everdeen having her arrow pointed at you when you wake up a bit delirious, wondering what is happening, and is that nightmare actually happening.

Hey, it could happen, now have a normal Sunday that hopefully isn't too hot or too cold, depending on where you live.
Also, Gale or Peeta?

A [field] trip to a french restaurant part 2

You finish eating the last of your crepe, so you stand up and go outside (which thankfully is a bit sunny). With your camera in hand you begin to start exploring the garden of the French restaurant. You find a lot of ducks, water, and greenery as well as a couple of cottages. You smile as you're taking the pictures knowing this is a good picture opportunity, for you may never know when you're coming back to the restaurant again.

And here are the rest of the pics that I chose to share with you today from my trip to the French restaurant. There was a lot of geese (and guys not from my school scaring the geese). As well as a set of stairs to see some of the geese. You also had to watch where you're stepping in, because you might never know if some kind of bird dropping is right there. I also saw a couple of swans swimming and eating, swimming, and eating, etc. As well as a peacock on the roof, and another one on the ground. There was a hidden pathway that I think leads to a dead end, a bridge or two, the river, trees, cottages, etc.

Which makes me wonder, who lives at the French restaurant? Because I saw a house there even though it was mostly hidden by trees. Also, geese are not evil. *Randomly putting that out there*

A [field] trip to a french restaurant

On this rainy mostly cloudy day, today, I had to wear a white dress (with pink flowers) with black wedge heels. It was of course kind of cold, as you might expect on a day that just rained. The day was also a bit dark yet light in a way that made you hope that everything might turn out to be okay in the end.

I was glad that I had my jacket with me, for without it my teeth would be chattering and I would have gotten sick twice in one month. I was also glad that the yellow school bus was warm, and not a freezer, because that would have been bad, very, very bad.

It was a squished, forty-five minute bus ride. The bus completely full, filled with more French deux kids than last year. While most of the kids from French trois (including moi) were around the bus somewhere. The ride was boring, filled with looking out the window, making up stories in my head, hearing some of the still obnoxious eight grade kids, talking, messing with my camera, etc.

It was why I was excited when the bus finally reached the property of the French restaurant. After passing through a gate, up a slightly long driveway, passing through another gate, and finally reaching the parking lot, we were here. We were finally here ^.^

And this time, we were fortunate enough to eat first. Unlike where last where, we had to wait a long time, walk around in the gardens while it was slightly raining (what is it with going to the French restaurant in the rain?), and generally just freeze our *derrières off. All the while we were waiting to be let inside the fortunately warm (not very animal friendly in terms of art) lobby. Before going up the stairs to one of the dining areas.

After looking for a spot to sit with anyone, my friend **Johanna and I finally found a spot by the windowed doors, with a person from the French deux class joining us.

There was a bit of waiting and ordering, and then came the five course meal. This was a lot considering that I had to pay $28 to go.

First course: appetizer, escargot
Not that bad, trust me, I had about two this year, two last year.

Second course: Raspberry sorbet to wash it down.
Very berry-ish, and light
Third course: salad with no meat, and a roll
Too much green, slightly strong crust, but still good
Fourth course: main course, vegetarian ravioli
It was either that or the chicken, and since I had chicken last year...
And no, I’m not a vegetarian… I think.
Fifth course: Dessert, a chocolate crepe with vanilla ice cream
This one was definitely my favorite. ^.^

Simply because of the ice cream, and no strange cooking alcohol after taste.
And I think that’s it for today, so come back around tomorrow for what I saw in the gardens of the French restaurant, if you want.
***Au revoir ya voir plus tard

 * Butt/back
** I changed her name, for privacy reasons.
*** Good bye and see ya later.

Quick french vocab: Deux - two

Trois - three

A get out of my head (not really) song

Words for random posts have been going through my head. Yet, I don't think I can post them. Mostly, it's because I don't know how to post them, or how to write them out for the world to see. So for the moment, I've decided to go with a song; a song that has been running through my head all day today.

A song that's by the popular band One Direction, one that's already has over 100 million views. It's - if you haven't guessed by now - What makes you beautiful.

I find it catchy and cute by now. Plus it reminds me of a couple of characters of mine, that as you've guessed it dates in the book... eventually (for two of them).

A one in the morning kind of post

Homework, windmill design, aerospace cones (or in my team’s case arrows), the book Night by Elie Wiesel, laziness, spending time with my family, and dresses. All in the day of little Stacy N. Well it was technically more of the past two days, Thursday and Friday. However, I’m here now posting, aren’t I? Even if it is around one in the morning, but by metropolitan/city standards that’s kind of early or kind of really late. It just depends on how you look at it.

Now it’s time for me to flop around a bit tired but full of lightness that comes with being a bit hyper. As well, as listen to my older sister practice her Spanish, and type, which makes me, start to listen to my own typing. I think eating chips and nuts at night while watching a movie, shouldn’t be done again... maybe. I can’t say that it’s that much of a serious mistake to do, considering that all it’s made me do is either sleep or like this night make me a bit hyper.

Well enough of my rambling, because I think I may have gotten a new follower. Hello new follower that isn’t a flower; welcome to Sweets Galore, where I talk about whatever is on my mind. Which tonight maybe just random stuff, like being hyper that’s quickly turning into being tired right at the moment.

Another thing is, the movie I saw tonight was High School Musical 3, where I mostly made comments such as that’s cute, or how did he get a basketball? (During the graduation scene, when Chad somehow got a basketball.) However, I mostly watched and started to realize something. I’m literally near the area of where they filmed High School Musical 3. And I didn’t mean just the state, I meant the actual East High School, school. Also if you are wondering yes, East High School is actually called East High School, plus on the west side there’s a high school called West High School.

   [source]
Well that was slightly random, but now you know that I live in the state where High School Musical (1, 2, and 3) was filmed. That, plus my state has the saltiest lake in the United States. And to make it even more random, I have never been to the Great Salt Lake in my entire life, despite living about half an hour to an hour away from it. Random fact, the Salt Lake only has brine shrimp in the waters considering that it’s the only organism that can actually live with that high of a salt content.

Now, that was... interesting, if not very random. Also, since I’m tired now, I’m just going to start posting pictures, as usual. Since apparently tumblr as well as weheartit got blocked because of the internet server, I have to settle on pintrest.com. Which I have heard is like tumblr only you pin stuff instead of reblogging, but I’m not going to get one [yet]. Tumblr seems a bit more addicting in my opinion.

Oh yeah, did you also know that part of the Great Salt Lake is green (or is it red?) for some reason that I can’t remember.

How to make a successful egg drop

Supplies
-Straws (about 100)
- Tape/glue (to hold everything together)
- Tin foil
- Ziploc bag (the small kind)
- A sheet of notebook paper
- Two egg cartons cups
- Eggs (raw, not cooked!)
- Rubber bands

And I think that's about it.

Instructions

  1. Brainstorm!
  2. Start building
  3. Now drop it from a high place (the landing should be clear of anything and can be either grass or cement)
  4. Clean up the mess that you've probably made
  5. Have fun along the way as well!
Tips:
- I would highly recommend covering all sides of the eggs with straws. So that way if it flips and it doesn't land on the side you wanted it to land. It will at least hopefully have landed on something soft.
- Don't just have the Ziploc bag be  a cushion and just surround that with straws that looks like a small hut with the two eggs underneath. It won't work that well, trust me.
- The more volume there is helps.

And if you made a successful egg drop with no parachute, then hopefully your egg won't have its fear come true.

The Easter Bunny was here

Only, he wasn’t really here, he was part of my imagination that he might have been here. I also know that I'm kind of late on saying Happy Easter. However, the Monday after Easter Sunday is also Easter Monday. So, in a way it's kind of Easter, only without the egg hunts, and there’s school instead of church.

Well I’m saying Happy Easter anyways, because well it’s kind of Easter. Also, the reason why I wasn’t here yesterday was because I was being a good little child and hung out with my family. Where there was a teensy bit of drama, a movie (that wasn’t the Hunger Games :(  [even though I already saw it], but the Lorax [which is also a good movie]), a restaurant/diner that was a bit crowded, and grocery shopping. Then after all that I had to spend four hours on two essays for geography.   -_-

But enough about my Easter, what did you do for that day? Did you celebrate it or is it just like a regular Sunday for you? Comment below
Also some pics.

A sea named jealousy

Here's an attempt to write a poem using these seven words slide, aspirin, ostrich, giraffe, razor, sea, jealousy.
~.~.~.~.~
There was a sea
Called Jealousy
Living near the
African coast
Where it stares
At animals
Like a long neck bird
Called an ostrich
Or a tall brown spotted animal
Called a giraffe
Only to end up getting headaches
So the sea slides away
Using a razor to crush up
Aspirin
As it slides away from
Africa

My thoughts: Water has hands? Well that's what you get for using seven random words and a creativity that's slowly dwindling. Now here's some inspiration that doesn't involve a prep school.
