hello again.
School: My current classes include AP US History, chemistry
HN, AP calculus, and accounting, which only occur on A-days. As for the B-days,
the rest of the classes are painting, AP calculus again, math Lab (aka study
hall), and English HN.
Some clubs I joined so far are FBLA (Future
Business Leaders of America), and Think in Ink (a creative writing club).
How I’m
faring so far: I’m pretty fine, a little disorganized
when it comes to school work. The school I’m going to is not that bad but it
has a small library, which I don’t like at all.
My current
cravings: French fries, always French fries.
It seemed to have developed when I moved to the city to live with my older
sister, and it won’t leave.
Anyone special:
I did have a crush but like most of my
crushes in the last few years, it flew away on a breeze towards the land called,
You’re Not My Type.
Last book I’ve
read: The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen.
It’s a pretty good book but I would have to give it three out of five stars
because the main character’s romance with the tourist seemed too fast, but of
course it was a summer romance. And the tourist took a cheese grater and
started grating my nerves throughout the whole book, I was glad when he didn't get what he wanted and disappeared.
Life in
general: I miss home. Home as in the
house I grew up in, in the town that I've known for much of my life. I miss my
cat. I miss my dad and mom and my little brother. I miss physically talking to
my friends, and just having friends in general (my shyness seems to have grown
since going to my new school). And I miss the library there (both my old school
library and the public one).
What I hate:
my older sister’s narrow-mindedness. The
fact that school starts to early. The fact that my self-motivation broke in my
sixteen years and eleven months. The fact that the libraries are too far away. And
the fact that I was in a reading slump* for a while.
What I like:
I like how my school is pretty diverse
and how there are more clubs. I like how I’m starting to get out of my reading
slump. I like how it’s finally autumn and the trees are barely changing colors.
I like the characters from the anime Free! (but I don’t like how I have to wait
till next summer for the new season). I like that I’m getting a phone soon. And
I like that I’m blogging again.
What I hope
for: College, being on my own, more
books, more money, and probably a boyfriend.
Music:
*reading slump: a period of time when you don't feel like reading.
P.S. Thanks for sticking with me or technically blog.

'Cause you are the piece of me I wish I didn't need
I can't help but be
reminded of my two characters from my 2012 Camp Nano book, Shh, Silence is
Golden.
If our love is tragedy, why are you my remedy?
If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?

A head full of Les Misérables
Around Wednesday, people from my french class and I went to a theater to see Le Misérables. It was fun and pretty interesting and it nearly had me in tears. But most of all, it made me want to watch the movie, it also made me kind of want to read the book with its one thousand-ish pages. However, for the moment, I'll settle with listening to the musical via spotify.

I write better than I can talk
My words don’t make much sense written, or even spoken.

They seem more or
less understandable in my head, but when they exit my head and are directed
towards people a, what is usually what I get in return.
It seems as if
some part of my head gets confused about what I'm saying, so it plays a game of
telephone, from brain part, to another brain part, to muscle, and such.
And what gets out
of my mind, well a what is indeed the right response.
It then results in me having to repeat things a few more times
till the other person actually gets it.
By now, I'm quite used to it and won't get offended by having to
repeat my words again.
However, it's still a bit annoying.
Now for a song that's been in my mind for a while, which I hope isn't as confusing as me trying to talk/type.

A Pitch Perfect weekend.
Even though some of you are pretty thin, you all have fat hearts, and that's what matters.
(Fat Amy)
You're one of the a cappella girls. I'm one of those a cappella boys, and we're gonna have aca-children. It's inevitable.
(Jesse)
Well... sometimes I have the feeling I can do crystal meth, but then I think, mmm... better not.
(Fat Amy)
Aubrey: What are you doing?
Fat Amy: Horizontal running.
Told you. Endings are the best part.

Let us begin again~
Life is full of changes. It’s true; look around you, in fact, look at yourself.
Can you remember being small? Can you remember losing your first tooth? Can you
remember when you first started learning? Can you remember liking something
that you used to like? Even if it is very vague, you can at least remember
doing something of that sort. Now start remembering how you changed because of
that. And just know that it’s normal.
So don’t be angry or worried if I’m changing too. I’m just like you, a
person who can’t help but change even if it is unintentional. However, some
changes are intentional like my blog. I couldn’t stand having the same theme
for the rest of the year, because it will start boring me. Plus there are so many
html tricks, begging to be used; and I couldn’t help but use them. Even if this
meant altering nearly everything about my blog.
Plus, I didn’t want to have a blog title that doesn’t have anything to do
with me or my life. I wasn’t a baker by nature. And by using the blog title,
Sweets Galore, kind of implies that I am, despite the fact that there wasn’t
any baking going on, on my blog. I am however a teenager who likes the band Of Monsters and Men, especially their
song Little Talks. And, I
am talking to you guys no matter how little I have to say. So the new blog
title, my little talks, fits much better in my opinion.
So without further ado, let’s begin the whole blogging business again.
P.S. Don't be surprised if there are a few small changes here and there.

Happy (very late) birthday Sweetie.
It's been about a month since the New Year has started, and already I
broke one my resolutions. For at
least once a week, write a post on Sweets Galore. As you guys may have noticed, I have not been doing
that at all. A roll of excuses about my absence could fall off my head and land
onto my hands to be typed out. And they would all be true, however would I really
mean it when I say sorry and try to attempt to go back to that particular New
Year’s resolution? The answer, my dear readers, is no.

I won’t really mean it if I apologized about ‘abandoning’ my blog and not
abiding to that particular resolution, because that sentence wouldn’t feel true.
However, I am a bit sorry that I have not been posting lately. My head does not
want to keep on having to invent new post ideas every single week, it, as well
as I, would like to have some time away from the blogging world to do our own
thing, which is living life.
However, I am a bit sorry whenever a perfect opportunity to blog passes
by. Simply because I don’t have the time or energy or it may have slipped from
my mind, for me to actually go onto BlogSpot and type the whole thing down. A perfect example of this would be my blog’s
birthday, which turned two on January 8th of this year.
So to make up for it, I am going to post four videos that I like right
now.
One is a book trailer for a book that I have recently reread.
Another is a Disney short film that has no words.
The third is a song that involves school.
And the last video involves science.
So without further ado, here they are.
