Random Poems

Hello, loyal viewers, and first time viewers, and the viewers in between. Today was yearbook day at my school. And of course there were still the regular classes that we had to go to. So what are you supposed to do, if all you have is a cupcake pen, a notebook, and a yearbook. Plus a classroom, that does nothing, except talk, and well sign yearbooks? Well it's simple, the only three options are
  1. Be bored
  2. Talk with your friend
  3. Write
Well you know what the answer is, of course. Option three, write. So that's what I did, write random poems. Some of them good, and some of them okay, and some of them that's just kind of poetic. And I just wanted to post them to you guys, since well I was so bored during class. And also, does anyone have cupcakes?

Yearbook day
Fun, laughter
Positive words fill the air.
As students, and teachers write
Goodbyes and H.A.G.S to each other
~.~
Yearbook day,
So full of
Happiness and sadness
As bittersweet words, fill the air
 ~.~
Boring
Oh so boring
Reading is not an option
I still have to sign more yearbooks
Newsflash, its Yearbook day
Got to write some more goodbyes to random people
 ~.~
Blog
Laptop in hand
On blogger.com
Got to write something random
 ~.~
Oh how I feel so bad for my teachers.
Having to write something
Positive for each individual student.
Resulting in bad hand cramps by the end of the day.
 ~.~
Random
   Android
      Nanowrimo
         Dogs
            Okra
               Monkeys
 ~.~
Cake
As well as oh so delicious
Kisses (the chocolate kind) go perfectly with cake
Eat up.
 ~.~
Silent
Is golden
Light is silent
Eating the noise away
Noise suddenly dies
Then it’s finally silent
 ~.~
Science
Completely odd
I have to dissect frogs?!
Eating random bits of candy along the way
Never ever going to work in the science field
Caring about random animals
Ending in an awesome year
 ~.~
T.A
Any candy along the way?
~.~
Smart
Medically speaking
Academically speaking
Rolling out of the way speaking
That everyone knows I’m smart
 ~.~
Cupcakes
Ugly? NOT
Perfectly yummy
Carefully made
And of course, you may have one
Kiss it for good luck
Eat it because of its yumminess
Sunny days are here. Yay for cupcakes!

Good

On a bread

The less than awesome, more childish 2010-2011 yearbook. Seriously, Color outside the lines?

A random tip

If you're worried about people snooping through your journal. Start writing it in an another language! Especially one that they don't know. It will help improve your foreign vocab, as well as totally confuse your snoopers. Because they have no idea what you're talking about.

A random post

I write because words has a way of instantly making me feel better. I write because I have a strange attraction to words, wanting to learn every nook and cranny. And I write because my imagination can't be enclosed in my head. A writer’s soul is like a butterfly garden. There’s an infinite amount of butterflies flitting about, and the writer is the person with a big net trying to catch all of them. It is in fact impossible, there’s always going to be butterflies in the garden. Aka there’s always going to be words in the writer’s soul no matter how hard you try to catch them all. (THIS IS GOING TO BE COPYRIGHTED DON’T STEAL THIS IDEA). So my writing soul has a way to make me feel better, while I try to catch as many of the butterflies as possible, and train it to make beautiful words. For the world to see. For some reason I feel like being in a poetic mood for no reason. Well here's a cow story for the last day of National Cow Week, sorry if I hadn't said anything about it I kept on forgetting. Well here it is...

Cows are everywhere.
Cows eat grass
Cows make milk
For people to use and drink
Cows are vital
For life and death
Cows are holy
Cows are awesome
Now I want to be a cow

(Sorry if it's a bit sucky, I just made the whole thing up. That's what you get for not having enough time to write something for National Cow Week, and for being too lazy to edit it.)

Life on the Top Excerpt

I got bored, and I knew I had to post something. So ta-da here's an excerpt from my book Life on the Top. This was before the MC was dating and went to camp and some stuff got kind of complicated to explain. So yeah, hope you enjoy it.

“H-h-hey Mels,” Trev said. Hmm is he sweating, he probably just played a rough game of football.  “Hey,” I said trying to eat my pizza. Geez the cheese is way too chewy. What do they use to make it; wait let me guess disgusting, organic, cheese, blah. “So um, um, nice w-w-weather out?” he stammered. “Yep very nice weather, almost feels like summer.” “Nice enough for the p-p-p-party n-n-n-next w-w-week?” “Yeah, sure nice enough for the party next week Trev,” I said real slowly “Hmm are you going take anybody to it?” “M-m-m-m-maybe,” he stuttered trying to be nonchalant. “Who,” I say trying not to get my hopes up. “A g-g-g-girl,” geez, he’s sweating bullets.  What the heck is up in his mind? “Which girl is it?” I asked. But before he could answer me, the bell rung saying that lunch is over. “We’ll see each other in class, ‘kay,” said Trevor, running away. Now I really do wish I got mind reading.
The clock in the classroom was ticking by really slowly. Ms. Margate is on the computer, the class is doing their work, and also, Trev keeps on throwing glances at me every 10 min. No really, at exactly 10 min. he glances at me. A bit creepy I know that, but I try to ignore it.
Ding-dong, ding-dong, I know the school’s bell sounds like a doorbell, just blame the principal. After the bell rung, I jumped out of my chair and put my stuff into my bag, and grabbed Melanie in just exactly 5 minutes just to get away from Trev. When I was walking out the door though, I saw Elli in the hallway, holding hands with Dodge. She caught me staring, and started using her deadliest glare that is reserved for only me. Well, two could play at that game so I started using my deadliest glare that I only do when I’m pissed off. While I was busy glaring at Elli, I slipped on a banana peel, and landed on my back. Ha, ha very funny, you may think, but it hurts a bit, and who the heck throws banana peels on the floor? Hmm where the heck is Melanie? Probably outside, drawing on the ground, I guess.
“You o-o-okay?” asked Trevor looking down at me worriedly. “Yeah, I think so. Help me up please,” I said holding my hand up. “S-s-s-sure, and after t-t-t-this could we t-t-t-talk?” “Okay, just help me up please?” I said, not really caring, just wanting to get off of the floor.
After that, he took me to the back of the school cafeteria, where the dumpster is. “So you know the party, is next week, and h-h-how I was bringing a g-g-g-girl.” He said it so fast that I barely understood it. So I just nodded.  “Well I w-w-want………. you to be……. the g-g-girl,” he said after a while. “Wait you want me to go to the party with you?” the words slowly sinking in.  “Y-y-yes, will you and w-w-will… you g-g-go o-o-out with m-m-me as well?” he said in a quiet voice. Right at that moment, he looked so fragile, and usually he’s so sturdy.
Well how could I say no to his curly golden-brown hair that bounce up and down whenever he’s happy, or laughing, or his deep blue eyes that reminds me of the prettiest ocean in California, or how he’s the strongest 6th grader, because of his muscles, or just how he looks like a little kid.  Or even his jubilant atmosphere that attracts stuff to him. I mean that’s the reason why we become friends in the first place.
“Umm, yes to both,” I said, and I meant it, I hadn’t realized that I liked, really, truly liked him, until now. Huh now I know how Melanie feels when she’s with her boyfriend. “Oh yes!” he said, and he smiled his famous “I got something smile” and so did I. J

My plot for NaNoWriMo 2011

For this year's NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) I have decided on my final plot for what I'm going to write about for my novel. Even though it isn't till six more months, but I couldn't wait because it's going to be my first one. Well here's the summary the long one and the short one. The cover is going to come sometime this month so be patient. >_<

NAME: INVASION
SUMMARY
LONG VERSION:

On a sunny day...
Everything was normal. The adults were at work, the children in school. Everyone was doing his or her job. The sky was clear and blue, not a cloud was in the sky. Till at exactly one in the afternoon, the sky turned dark. Everything was as black as night. Streets, cars, houses...
It was the day of invasion.

16 years later, in the year 2050, Brackon begins afoot the revolution. For 16 long years, the earthlings have secretly been planning a revolution. Right under the Imperiors' nose (name for the people that took over Earth) and the time has come to take action.

For 16 years, Mia's parents have taken over earth. For 16 long years, they have raised earth as if it was one their children. Doing countless acts that were for the "good" of the community. Until they die. This was on her 16th birthday. Now everything rests on her shoulders including the plan to kill the earthlings.
But along the way to old Washington D.C. now called by the Imperiors Terra Antiqua. Latin for the Ancient Land. Brackon starts discovering the real reason why the earthlings want to have a revolution so badly. All of it not good for the Imperiors. Now he’s starting to wonder if all of it’s a good idea anymore. Mia is still sulking about her parent’s sudden death. Suddenly wondering what’s right and wrong anymore.

SHORT VERSION:

Everything changes when Earth gets taken over by the Imperiors in the year 2034. Now 16 years in the year 2050 life changes as the lives of billions rests on two people, as they have to make the choice that risks the other race. Who will die first the Earthlings, or the Imperiors?

(The summaries are subject to change at any moment. >_<  I somehow can't make up my mind.)

Mesa’s Physics Day 2011

Yep it’s that year again, its Physic’s day at Lagoon. Where all the Mesa clubs from all over the state of Utah and some in Southern Idaho (that my counselor Mr. Turner reports) come together to hang out and have fun in one place. LAGOON!!! The one and only amusement park in Utah (in fact I think it is the only amusement park in Utah). It is all the hard work that the kids, adolescents, Mesa supervisors, and whoever else gets after a long year of egg drops, and windmills. Well enough talk about it, it’s about what I did there right? Right. Well first of all, it was a long ride there in my opinion and telling my friends that the kiddy rides are closed for real; because of well why would a bunch of teenagers go there? It is mostly open for the whole bunch of adolescents that are there anyways. The first thing was go on the oldest roller coaster there, that was a bit stomach wrenching, and maybe get a teensy bit angry with some friends for not waiting. Then after that, we went on another ride that I forgot, and another and another. It is an amusement park after all.
When my friends and I went on one of the haunted house rides, my two friends next to me started screaming just for fun, and my friends behind me screamed because they were frightened. While me, I just laughed because it was just so funny. In my opinion, the props weren’t scary enough. One of my friends say I hide my fear through laughter, which actually might be true. So ha-ha dear monsters, you don’t scare me or do you?
Later that day one of my friends and I managed to actually get out of the scariest ride in the whole park. It is also known as the WICKED, even though we were so close or to be more specific at the front of the lines to get on. Even though one of my friends, actually convinced us to get on, and won’t let us chicken out till the end. So that got me thinking about being faint-hearted. And am I one? I swear I wanted to actually go on it, and live up to my promise to her. But what happened? So I sit in the shade waiting for my friends to finish getting wet at the CLIFFHANGER, as I think this through. Oh yeah, when we were on the Ferris wheel and near the top, there was a ton more students and other people coming in. Making me, wonder just exactly how many people are in these Mesa clubs? A lot apparently.
The only stuffed animal that I have actually won today, which was really easy to win, if you played the game.

One of the tracks for the ride WICKED. And by the way it doesn't go really slow when it goes up.

Another track part of the WICKED.

Change

The moon changes phases. The earth changes season and weather. The tree changes leaves. The car changes directions, as well as humans. Human beings can change heart and/or form in physical, emotional, or mental ways; as well as all animals. The fragile lion cub or baby that you've always known has changed into a fierce mature adult. Ready to pounce and take control of the situation. Change is what keeps life exciting, or sad. Change brings the spice back to the dull. Change can break your heart, and it could also bring excitement and good will. Practically much change is what makes you, you. It makes it so you’re where you are. Without it, we’ll all just be babies forever, not doing anything except just suck our thumbs and look cute and innocent. As they say, “Out with the old, and in with the new.”

P.S, How did spring-cleaning came to be it is today?

Life on the Top

Life on the Top is one of my books that I'm writing about. It's from a girl named Melody, and how she views life, through the classic diary form. Only she doesn't say Dear Dairy/Kitty/Journal or whatever. Here's the book cover that I just made ten minutes ago though, and it has one of my favorite treats... ICE CREAM.
